42nd Meeting - Montreal, March-April 2004

Document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/42/13:  presents the findings and recommendations, based on information collected during evaluation missions to P.R. China in November 2003 and January 2004. 

a)Phase-out results planned and achieved, at the level of projects and national consumption
b) Link to the production sector phase-out of CFC-113 and CTC and its monitoring
c) Duration of conversion contracts, causes of delays and suggested remedies
d) Innovative phase-out contracts developed to convert numerous small solvent users
e) Need for further development of the technical support system
f) National and international audits and their focus, methods and schedule

The Executive Committee might wish to:

2 Commend that the Government of China, in cooperation with UNDP, to consider the recommendations as presented in para. 13 of document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/42/13.
